During your consultation, your Optometrist will perform a thorough eye examination, taking precise measurements such as: corneal curvature and the size of your pupil. These assessments help in determining the best lens options tailored to your unique needs. Your Optometrist will explain the benefits and drawbacks of each lens type, so together you can make an informed decision based on lifestyle, preferences, eye health, and visual needs.
Your Optometrist will guide you through the process of inserting and removing your contact lenses, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable. They will assess the fit of the contact lenses to ensure they sit correctly and provide optimal visual acuity. We will run through important Dos and Don’ts for contact lens wearers, to help you maintain good eye health and prevent any issues. These include good hygiene, lens care, and recognizing signs of discomfort or irritation. A follow-up appointment will be scheduled where the fit and vision of your contact lenses (after wearing a few days) will be checked. We will also address any concerns or questions you may have.
